thank goodness for Bloongssss
Werd would like to express it's gratitude to Benedict Loong Kai Siang or Bloong, for bravely accepting the role of bassist to replace our fallen comrade, Victor, for the gig. Bloong hails from TheySawUs, an extremely wonderful band with a wicked, kick-ass sound and cool dudes, even though i've never heard or met them. the POINT is, Werd is saved from the evil clutches of bass-less-ness-ism. thank you Bloong, we just hope that you do not busted us because of, ahem, HER. la la la la la la la la la la la la la.
anyways, since it's already tomorrow, i'll blog about yesterday.
woke up at 1pm [relatively early], saw Dom and Vic online, so i asked them out. the rain spoiled movie plans and a trip to Dom's crib. we ended up entertaining ourselves at the LAN[no, not you, Lan] shop opposite church. Vic and I were 'pwningz' Dom and Colin, even though we haven't been within smelling distance of a LAN shop for ages. CS got boring after a while, then we tried Frozen Throne DotA, much to the disinterest of Dom and Colin who left the game. after the gaming, it was off to ker-fiss or KFC, for food. ate while we did some neighbour watching.
well, i just realised that my previous entry was 'f*cking' angsty, which put Vic in a really bad light. well, it was just an impulsive entry really, i was just letting it out. no intention to make Vic the baddie in any way. he can't make it for the gig ONLY, I HOPE. so he'd better come back and help us for our EP. hee.
oh my, a random thought just popped in my head. sorry Lan, this would have to be at your expense. what if, Lan had a shop. 'Lan's Shop'. Lan's Shop of Coincidence, Lan's Qiao Shop. Lan Shop. Lan's Lousy Shop, Lan's Lan Shop. or Lan's LAN Shop. okay, enough. so what would Lan sell in his shop? well, he could sell LANcome products. he could sell Dan Brown's books cause of the character, Robert LANgdon. a LAN shop would be self-explainatory. my goodness, LANcome products would make Lan, come. okay, i better stop. sorry Lan.
many people are complaining about the screwed JAE system. well, i just have to laugh at the government about this. for all their foresight, from planning Singapore's future since the 60s, they couldn't forsee a jam like this. i mean, they already knew about the influx of births when we were born in 1988 dammit. they had 16 years to see it coming. guess not. this incident with the system is going to tick many people off. so, i wouldn't be expecting a lot of votes for the PAP in the next elections.
hmm, going to SAJC tomorrow to enquire about something, then it'll be off to Kelvin's house for song writing. woo hoo!
"Let's go!
The only way we know!"
